Intelligent Exposure on the ZS7
I finally got my ZS7 which I bought from Amazon to complement my LX3 so I can zoom in furthur. I now love both cameras! I am just an amateur in photography and have taken many photos to test out the ZS7. I can't decide whether it is a good idea to use Intelligent Exposure for outdoor photos or not. On the LX3 it seems to work very well to set the IE to LOW. But with the ZS7 I feel like the photos without setting IE which usually are set by the camera at ISO80 seem better in general than those where I (at a different time) set IE to LOW and the camera uses the ISO125 setting. I don't know if it is the difference in ISO or some other reason. I was wondering whether someone on this forum has come to an opinion as to whether it is good to set IE on the ZS7. I should mention that so far I have only tested the ZS7 on sunny days. Any ideas will be much appreciated.

RE: Intelligent Exposure on the ZS7
Yeah, you are absolutely right on that. I have had ZS7 for some time now and have had some great shots with it. It is indeed the best for a sunny day while in some places it does work for a cloudy day too. Talking about IE, it seems to have some extended features to enhance the dark ones. I haven't worked much with it so cannot have a clear picture about it.
